Nahoko Uehashi Nahoko Uehashi
Born in 1962 in Tokyo, Uehashi completed a PhD in Cultural Anthropology (focusing on Australian Aborigines) and is now an associate professor.
The fantasy novels in Uehashi's 'MORIBITO (Guardian) Series', which draw heavily on her Cultural Anthropology studies, have won many awards in Japan.
