A traveller caught in a thunderstorm takes refuge in a wayside house. As the storm rages, the traveller's attention is drawn to a lily blooming outside. 'My love is like that flower. Don't break!' he thinks. The image of the delicate lily standing up to the violent wind and rain, like a person enduring a difficult fate, is a truly inspiring tale.
