My Homeland Afghanistan

Nagakura has been visiting Afghanistan for 20 years. Most of the pictures come from the northern part of the country, where armed conflict, first against the Soviet Union and then against the Taliban, became a part of everyday life. Despite the difficulty, he gained hope and inspiration from the shining faces of the youngsters.
